If you want to taste the authentic flavor of Thailand, here is the best place to try. I highly recommend! Everything is so tasty especially Som Tam (papaya salade), Pad See Ew and Mango Sticky rice. The staff is super friendly and welcoming.
Best Thai food in BORDEAUX especially it you enjoy Thai Str Style Food. I have tried few Thai places and reckon this is probably the best and the location is convenient as well.
I was here twice this week and really enjoyed the food! I ordered the Pad Thai with crispy pork, and it was beyond my expectations for Thai food overseas. The flavor was amazing — starting with sour, then sweet and salty. The noodles were perfectly cooked and not clumped together at all. The crispy pork was super delicious and flavorful. I also tried the Pad Kra Pao with crispy pork and the papaya salad. Be careful with the papaya salad — even 1 chili is already quite spicy! The sauce was sour and savory, which I really liked. The Pad Kra Pao was also very tasty. The sunny side up egg was done in authentic Thai style: crispy egg white with a creamy yolk. I loved it!
I had a really good experience at Soi Bangkok in Bordeaux. The restaurant is easy to find and has a nice, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious. I tried the chicken satay, beef salad, pad Thai with prawns, and pad Thai with beef everything was very tasty and well prepared. For dessert, I had mango sticky rice and banana in coconut milk with tapioca, which were both excellent and a perfect way to finish the meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I went at lunchtime during the week, and it was quite busy, so it seems to be a popular spot. Overall, I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for good Thai food in Bordeaux.
This restaurant is fantastic! From the welcoming staff, chef and owner to the authentic and delicious food. I had the Tom Kha soup with shrimp and a side of rice. The soup was the perfect balance of savory, spicy and salty. The chef also sent me a complimentary crispy chicken satay which was coated perfectly in a creamy peanut sauce and delightful! Did I mention how great the rice was with the soup?! This is a Thai restaurant that you MUST try if you’re in Bordeaux.
