Auchan in the Bordeaux Lac shopping centre has a fabulous fish and vegetable department not to be missed. Auchan is an enormous grocery and department store in the middle of a mall. It`s a good idea to take advantage of the excellent child care centre in the mall itself.(beside tech store FNAC)

Auchan is a global hypermarket chain where you can find a huge selection of groceries, clothes, appliances, techno, and more. There are three Auchan stores in Bordeaux - Bordeaux Lac, Bordeaux Meriadeck, and Bordeaux Boulliac.

The Auchan at Bordeaux Lac is situated in the centre of one of the largest malls in Bordeaux and their selection of fresh produce and fish is superb. They have an extensive selections of cheeses and the wine section just keeps on going. If you've missed the deadline for lunch you can always pick up sandwiches and ready made deli products here too.

Just outside the far entrance is the Kiosk where you can purchase tickets for shows, tours, music events etc. 

If you go during lunch time the crowds have abated but good luck to you if you shop on a Saturday!
