L'Intendant

Without a doubt one of the most attractive and dramatic wine shops anywhere and you can find most of the Bordeaux classified growths.

L'Intendent is owned by a negociant house which means most of their wines were bought en primeur, or before bottling, and prices in many cases are lower than you will find at other wine shops.

The quality and price of wines increase as you go from the ground floor to the top floor. Cru bourgeois starts on the ground floor (typically under 15 €) and the more rarified growths such as Petrus are found on the top floor.
