Chateau du Gaby
Bordeaux
Château Gaby offers an amazing view of the Dordogne River and the vineyards of Canon Fronsac sloping down to the banks of the river. There's a quiet terrace to sip wine and enjoy this as well!
Over two centuries old Château du Gaby, now with 16 hectares of rolling, well kept vineyards, has commanded the land from atop the sloping limestone plateau that eases down to the magnificent Dordogne River. This right bank Château
is just outside the village of Fronsac in the appellation of Canon Fronsac beside the famous Grand Crus Classe wines of Saint Emilion.
Geologically this Canon-Fronsac area is a continuation of the Saint Emilion hillside. Travel to ChateaunGaby and you have found one of the 'Secret Garden of Bordeaux' wines, in an area praised for its merlot dominated wines. Château Gaby wines are easily comparable to some of the higher priced and well known neighbours.
Château Gaby invites you for tours and tastings in a charmingly renovated and dedicated space, perfectly situated and overlooking the vineyards and Dordogne River.
