The painter Toulouse - Lautrec was a frequent visitor at Château de Respide and painted several portraits of his cousin Louis Pascal while drinking these delicious white wines and enjoying this classic property in the Graves region.
It was Ernest Pascal, father of Louis and prefect of Bordeaux who built the present castle in the middle of the nineteenth century. The wines of Château de Respide are award winning and great value.The Château welcomes visiters to enjoy the wine tastings of these excellent value wines which may be purchased at the vineyard.
