The Bistro Regent is a great spot for lunch or dinner as the atmosphere is comfortable, the servings generous,and the service was faultless and friendly.
The food is straightforward, plain and served quickly. Before your meal arrives the plates are kept warm at your table on individual flame warmers. Our steak was cooked perfectly and their special sauce, a mustard cream butter spice affair seems to go well with all three choices! The frites or french fries are fried in duck fat which makes them really tasty and served in a large metal bowl as is the plain but good green salad.
Like most French restaurants the Bistro Regent is closed between lunch and dinner.
