Our dining experience at Le Bouchon Bordelais was exactly what we wanted for our final night in Bordeaux. We opted for the four course option along with the wine pairing. Everything was flavorful from the amuse-bouche through the dessert. And we even added a cheese course to share that was phenomenal as well. While service may have lagged at times it never felt slow and with only two staff working the front of the house on a busy Friday night, the pace was just fine. If we’re fortunate enough yo get back to Bordeaux again (hopefully during cooler weather) we will most-assuredly return.
An amazing experience in a homely restaurant serving first class French fare done with a culinary flair. Great for wine pairings and the four-course dinner was sublime with a host of varying flavors nicely combined & great value for the price. Service was friendly and good explanations provided for the dishes we tried. Hugely enjoyable
We had the 4-course option with the chosen wine pairing and had a fantastic experience. We also added the cheese course and some extra drinks at the start. The staff were very informative and extremely friendly. For what was a fine dining experience, it was not at all pretentious and would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bordeaux.
Beautiful cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine and great service. We went for a full tasting menu and weren't disappointed although portion sizes could be a bit bigger. Also it felt like waiting tome between dishes could be lower. The dessert was really creative and triggered all our taste buds 😂
