Description
Meet your guide in the center of Bordeaux and start your walking tour around the 18th-century city of Bordeaux, which was UNESCO classified in 2007. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, enjoy the famous pastry of Bordeaux: the canelé. Then you will discover the characters of famous cheeses such as Comté, Roquefort, and Brie in a cheese seller. To finish, you will stop at a pork butcher shop and enjoy local charcuterie with a glass of wine. Followed by this, enjoy all your products in our apartment with a glass of wine. 2.00 PM: Drive from Bordeaux to the Medoc Region. Enjoy the journey through the mythical 'chateaux route' and learn from your guide about this history of Bordeaux and Medoc wines. Shortly afterwards, you will arrive at a charming family run estate (Château Siran, Château Malescasse...) in the region, and spend a few hours touring its vineyards, vat room, and cellars, and hearing the story of the passionate family who has kept the vineyard alive for many generations. Reward yourself with a tasting class, and discover the intense colors, woody aromas, and tannic tastes of the wine world. Between the two winery visits, you will do a quick stop at Château Margaux to do some pictures in front of the most famous winery of Bordeaux! In the late afternoon, make your way to a beautiful Great Classified Growth 1855 estate (Château Marquis de Terme, Château Desmirail...), one of the most prestigious châteaux of Bordeaux. Enjoy some explanations about their wine-making process and finish the visit with a tasting of the estate's wines while enjoying an aperitif of French delicacies, including cheese, dark chocolate, fresh bread, and dry sausage. 7.15 pm: drop off in BordeauxIncludes
