Clubs and Associations

Associations and Clubs are an integral part French culture and society. Any interest area of social, business, sports or culture can form the basis of an associations or club and you will find an abundance of all these represented in Bordeaux. The wine associations particularly stand out as they are an integral part of the Bordeaux wine economy. Wine associations exist for all regions and grape varieties.

For expats, travelers, and locals, there are excellent business, networking and service opportunities through such clubs and organizations as the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce (CCI Bordeaux), Rotary International, the Franco-British Business Association, the Bordeaux Women’s Club The Bordeaux British Community,  or the Association Bordeaux USA.

Franco-British Business Association

The Franco-British Business Association exists to bring together those who are active in trade and commerce between Britain and France. The Association provides networking within the association and with other associations through speaking events, technical visits to selected companies and business presentations. While not engaged in the work of a Chamber of Commerce or Consulate the association hopes to provide contacts and access to information and expertise of its members to each other.
