The Rotary Club encourages high civic and professional ethics and works to advance understanding and peace in the world. Rotary’s motto is 'Service above self'. They sponsor educational programs including scholarship and exchange programs and support humanitarian projects and peace initiatives among others. Weekly club meetings are held on Wednesdays at the Hotel Mecure Mériadeck, Rue Robert Lateulade, 33000 Bordeaux.
