Description
During this 2-hour workshop, discover gin from an accessible, gourmet, and creative perspective by making two different cocktails.
Upon arrival at Nektar, our bartender will explain the workshop's structure as well as the essential basics of mixology: flavor balance, dosage, dilution, the role of different ingredients, and the main techniques used to create a cocktail.
You will then discover the world of gin in more detail: its main characteristics, its aromas, its botanicals, and how it can be combined with different ingredients to create cocktails with a wide variety of profiles.
With step-by-step guidance, you'll make two gin-based cocktails yourself, designed to introduce you to two different styles and two different flavor combinations. You'll learn how to use the mixology equipment, correctly measure the ingredients, shake or mix your cocktail, and then work on its presentation.
You will taste your two creations during the workshop, accompanied by something to eat and share.
Throughout the experience, our bartender will share tips, techniques, and tricks with you to help you better understand gin and make successful cocktails at home.
At the end of the workshop, you will also leave with a recipe card of your creations and tips on how to recreate them at home.
No prior knowledge is required: the workshop is suitable for beginners as well as cocktail enthusiasts who want to learn more about gin.
