Bassin des Lumières is the world’s largest digital art center, located in a former Second World War German submarine base in central Bordeaux. The venue offers an innovative way to experience art through immersive exhibitions enhanced by advanced technology.

Explore six exhibition spaces including The Cube, a soundproofed and insulated area devoted to immersive contemporary artworks. Here, paintings come alive as they transform into large-scale experiential projections beyond their traditional frames.

One featured exhibition presents The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, bringing the classic story’s watercolors to life through a dynamic mix of visuals and sound that creates a captivating journey into this imagined world.

Visitors can access four extensive pools of water, each 110 meters long, illuminated by 90 video projectors that cast dazzling colors and reflections. The environment blends light and shadow, allowing visitors to walk through a strikingly evocative space.
