Your 9-hour tour begins with a visit to Château Prieuré-Lichine where you’ll learn about the history of Bordeaux wines, the classifications, and the notion of AOC. Enjoy the pairing between a sturgeon pâté with Aquitaine caviar and the white wine of Prieuré-Lichine. Follow this with a tasting of Prieuré-Lichine's Margaux Grand Cru. At 11:15 AM, the second stop of the tour is for a visit of château Rauzan-Gassies, which focuses on terroir and the skills of the wine-grower. You will have a commented tasting of 3 wines from Château Rauzan-Gassies produced by the Quie’s family: “Haut Medoc, Pauillac, and Margaux'. At 12:30 PM, you will have lunch at the restaurant Le Savoie in Margaux village. This includes a starter, main dish, and desert, wine, and coffee. The wine served will come from the properties visited along the day. After lunch and a photo stop at Château Margaux, one of the most beautiful estates in Bordeaux, you’ll head to Château La Tour de Bessan. This winery features contemporary architecture and offers a blending workshop. This is your opportunity to discover Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties and a mysterious blend, along with Mademoiselle de Margaux’s famous chocolates, before tasting a vintage of Château La Tour de Bessan. To finish this day, you’ll visit Château Kirwan, Grand Cru Classé, to learn about the marketing of Bordeaux wines. After the visit, a playful tasting will be arranged with the famous canelé, a soft flavor of Bordeaux. You will return at around 5:45 PM.Includes
