Musée des Beaux-Arts i Bordeaux är en förstklassig konstgalleri i Europa som även rymmer en holländsk samling målningar som är en av de finaste i Frankrike.

En nyligen öppnad södra flygel visar sextonde till artonhundratal franska och europeiska samlingar, inklusive Brueghel de Velours, Titien, Magnasco och Rubens. Bordeaux-målare har inte glömts bort och representeras av Odilon Redon, Albert Marquet och Andre Lhote.
