After Nemea was taken over by Goelia, it became very outdated and is aging very poorly. The apartments are poorly maintained and the price is high, even in the off-season.
Disappointed with Goelia, I requested a 3-week stay on the first floor with an ocean view, but instead I got a first-floor apartment with a view of one-third of the building and two-thirds of the village. The security deposit was immediately debited from my account upon arrival (mistakes happen), but it took a week to get a refund after I complained, which is unacceptable. The apartment was clean, but the electrical appliances were old and rusty. There was a bad smell in the bedroom closet because the bathroom plumbing ran through it, not to mention the unpleasant odors from the stationery. Fortunately, the staff were pleasant.
The residence is easily accessible. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the reception staff were helpful and responsive. The apartment was bright and functional with all the necessary amenities. It's ideally located facing the ocean. The surf school and the restaurant just below can attract a few people, and the evenings can be a little lively, even noisy, but never anything out of control. I highly recommend this place. We loved it and will gladly return.
