Staycity was a great spot!! Literally in the heart of everything, the most convenient location. Easily walkable everywhere we went and the staff are so kind and helpful! The room we stayed in was on the smaller side, but the maximization of space and the layout of the space was very well thought out and made the space very useable for our 4 nights; it was immaculately clean and the bathroom was modern. Would recommend and would stay again, thanks so much Staycity!!
Lovely little hotel for one last night in Bordeaux, service was great and the location was perfect ans central. The website mentions parking but all the spaces had been reserved so we had to pay €30 at the recommended nearby car park which is not ideal. The room was clean and nice however the shower had a crack in the floor covered by a mat so a bit of a refurbishment could be good. Otherwise lovely.
The apartment had all the essentials for cooking and sleeping, and the bathroom was well designed and clean. The location is very convenient too - 2 mins walk from the Grosse Cloche gate to the old town. What makes this hotel exceptional is the sheer kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Sarah, the duty manager, and her team went out of their way to provide an absolutely first class service. From everyday requests to assisting us with our unforeseen early departure (when the smoke from the Gironde wildfires made the air unsafe to breathe), they were all genuinely keen to help and ensure that our stay was a happy one. Sarah even presented my wife with a lovely gift when it emerged that her birthday coincided with our early departure. We have never been treated with such hospitality, care and genuine warmth by staff before, so we can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for inexpensive accommodation in a beautiful city with the highest quality service.
An excellent stay in Bordeaux. Good location on a quiet street yet very close to bars and restaurants. Everything is walking distance from here. Staff were excellent and the room very comfortable. Allows bike storage also. Highly recommended
This is our first visit to Bordeaux and Stay City worked perfectly for us. The location was quite convenient without being in a noisy area. The rooms are good. They reflect the budget and are clean and quiet. The staff is where I give the hotel its best review. Each staff member I encountered was helpful and friendly. I’d like to single out Olivier with whom I mostly interacted. He was courteous and helpful as first timers to the wonderful city of Bordeaux. Would stay again.
