Escape Bordeaux for a day of fresh air, adventure, and the Atlantic Ocean with our Surf & Ocean Day Trip to Lacanau. This intimate experience, limited to just 4 participants, blends surfing, cycling, nature, and relaxation everything you need to discover the authentic French seaside lifestyle. Your adventure begins at 9:30 AM in Bordeaux, where your guide/driver Edwin welcomes you and drives you through the pine forests until we reach the Atlantic coast. Traveling in such a small group ensures comfort, flexibility, and plenty of time to connect with your guide and fellow adventurers. Once in Lacanau, the day kicks off with a 2-hour surf lesson led by a certified professional instructor. Whether you’re a total beginner or already comfortable in the waves, the lesson is fully adapted to your level. With wetsuit and surfboard included, you’ll safely learn how to catch waves and experience the thrill of surfing in one of Europe’s most iconic surf destinations. After building up an appetite, we settle down for a picnic on the beach, right on the sand. The Atlantic breeze, the sound of the waves, and the relaxed vibe create the perfect setting for a French-style lunch: fresh vegetables, charcuterie, cheeses, bread, and wine ending on a sweet note with a cannelé, Bordeaux’s most famous pastry. In the afternoon, we trade surfboards for bicycles on a guided ride through pine forests and along the ocean (Around 6 Miles distance). Your professional cycling guide will take you on quiet trails that reveal the raw beauty of Lacanau: shaded pine paths, wild dunes, panoramic views of the Atlantic, and hidden spots far from the crowds. The pace is gentle and accessible to all, with regular stops for photos and stories about the landscapes and culture. After this ride, you’ll have free time to enjoy Lacanau at your own rhythm. Go for a swim, relax on the sand, stroll along the beach, or enjoy a drink at one of the seaside terraces. This is your moment to soak up the coastal atmosphere however you prefer. Before heading back to Bordeaux, your guide hands you a special insider’s E-book, curated just for you, with recommendations to keep exploring Lacanau on your own. Important Information

• Both surfing and cycling are adapted for all levels. Your surf instructor will adjust to your ability, and the bike ride is gentle and accessible. Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, water bottler and comfortable clothes for cycling. We provide all surf gear, bikes, helmets, and lunch. The full day trip lasts around 8 hours, starting at 9:30 AM in Bordeaux and returning around 5:30 PM. This is a small-group experience with a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring a friendly and personal atmosphere.
