Description

Experience the charm of Bordeaux, affectionately known as The Sleeping Beauty, while the city is still quiet and peaceful. Skip the crowds, the noise, and the impersonal tourist groups. Are you looking to truly connect with the city? Then join my small group tour! I'm Guadalupe, a passionate local guide and Certified Sommelier (DipWSET, CMS). I fell in love with Bordeaux years ago, and my goal is to make you fall in love too, so much so that you'll already be planning your return. We will start the tour at Cathedrale Saint-André, one of the most beautiful squares in the city. Let me treat you to a delicious local pastry and a fresh coffee to start the day right. As you enjoy the typical French breakfast, I’ll share Bordeaux’s rich history in a fun, interactive way. We will discover 4 neighbourhoods together (Saint-Christoly, Saint-Pierre, Saint-Paul, Le Triangle d'Or), learning about the origins of the city, its historical characters, the Triangular Trade, the wine production, the Second World War, life in the city and so much more. Have questions about what to do with the rest of your trip? Where to eat, shop, or enjoy a glass of wine? I’ll be happy to help. At the end of the tour, I will share with you my personal recommendation list for everything you need to know in Bordeaux (restaurants, wine bars, flea markets, wine shops, etc.). This tour is perfect for early birds who prefer a calm, personalized experience in a small group. It’s ideal if you're short on time or have other plans later in the day. I can't wait to share the magic of Bordeaux with you! À très bientôt !
