MAKE SURE YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE BEFORE VISITING!!!!!!! The restaurant looked empty when we arrived, but we were told it was fully booked. In reality, it seemed they were operating with just one person serving, which likely explains why they can’t take walk-ins. The oysters and prawns were very good and easily the best dishes we tried. However, the rest of the food was fairly underwhelming and lacked flavour. Service could be more welcoming. The server came across very arrogant and unfriendly, and turning away potential customers despite having empty tables seems like a missed opportunity for the restaurant.

Customer satisfaction is at the highest level. Amazing flavors and service. My wife has celiac disease and since they accidentally put a sauce containing flour in the product we ordered, the owner also prepared a new product for my wife. A place where those who come to Bordeaux should definitely eat. Thank you for everything. I'm back here after five months. I've eaten at really good restaurants in many cities around the world. But I've never seen the quality, attention and care, and customer focus here in almost any of them. Moreover, the flavors get better every time I come. The boss is also incredibly friendly and helpful. If you come to Bordoeaux and leave without eating here, you'll really be making a mistake. We're back here after six months, nothing has changed. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is perfect, Thomas is superb. I repeat, anyone who comes to Bordeaux but doesn't come here will miss out on a lot. Here we are again after 7 months. There's not much more I can add. Everything is wonderful again. The shop owner, Thomas, knows his stuff. I'll say what I always say: if you come to Bordeaux and don't come here, you're missing out.
The food was great! We had oysters, crevettes, squid in parsley sauce and half crab. The parsley sauce was out of this world!!! We will try to recreate it at home. The server was a little moody because we arrived 5 minutes before opening time, which was 5 minutes before our reservation 😀 but then he quickly turned his mood around and put his game face on and sent us to our table. The restaurant is small, rustic, could use a a little pick me up, but it offers an authentic experience.
I visited as a tourist and was craving seafood, so I made a reservation for one. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable since they spoke English. The oysters were great, and the octopus risotto was absolutely delicious! Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Was there a few days ago and had an amazing time. Food was fantastic. Julian had very good knowledge of the menu and able to assist us with our queries . Definitely drop in for a meal! Thanks again and good luck to Julian and team!
