Stunning hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and well appointed. I probably had the best sleeps I've had in years in this hotel. It's a short walk to many attractions in Bordeaux, and the staff were very helpful in recommending things to do. Very enjoyable place, we hope to return soon!
We are genuinely disappointed by our stay at Hotel Yndo and would not recommend it. The most significant issue was the air conditioning. Throughout our stay, our room remained uncomfortably warm, reaching 28°C (82°F). On the first night, we requested a fan to make the room more bearable and were told that none were available, which we understood. We raised the issue again in the morning, yet no solution was offered,we were simply told that it was a hot summer and the AC was working which is evident it was not cooling the room appropriately. The room remained uncomfortable, and we felt that our concerns were largely dismissed rather than addressed. Whether through getting a fan, a room change, or another accommodation, we expected some effort to ensure a comfortable stay. That simply did not happen. We also found the property itself underwhelming. Rather than feeling luxurious, it felt small, poorly ventilated, and lacking the comfort and refinement that its reputation suggests. What is most frustrating is that the shortcomings were not in minor details,they were in the fundamentals: a comfortable room, a restful night’s sleep, and responsive service when problems arise. Based on our experience, we do not feel the hotel delivers the quality, comfort, service, or value and we would NOT recommend it to other travelers.
Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Yndo hotel. Upon arrival, staff were welcoming and attentive. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked for assistance in our room. Staff were helpful and kind. Upon arrival - we had two delicious cookies waiting for us. Coffee and tea a good supply of too. The actual hotel was stunning with beautiful original features. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so welcome.
If you are looking for a quaint and quiet hotel in Bordeaux, look no further. Yndo definitely lived up to the expectations. The lobby was stunning with two lounges, a dining room and a terrace to enjoy the weather. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and went the extra mile to help make our stay better. The rooms were extremely well kept. Also, the hotel is at a location which makes it very walkable to the city.
Stylish and comfy stay in Bordeaux We stayed in Yndo for a weekend trip and it was very good. From welcoming staff to a nice, well decorated and practical room to a good breakfast the day we left. Would repeat again. Location is 20 min walking from city center or 10 min by tram
